Joliet, IL in August, what could be better? Well On-road RC of course. Leisure Hours Raceway was up to the challenge. Within 2 weeks of the event there was a complete track overhaul with brand new asphalt laid down and manicured extremely well for the upcoming event.

The host hotel for the race will be Arizona Charlies East, Located on Boulder Highway just north of Tropicana. Approx 5-7 min from the track.1-800-362-4040 is there phone number, Tell them you are with 4Aces Racing and that should give you the discounted room rate.

The asphalt has been down for about a week now and the layout is scheduled to be down this week. Bernie should be sending me pics after it's in. If you've been to a Leisure Hours event you know what kind of program Bernie runs and if you haven't then you need to go! Take a look at their site for directions.

Onroad Racing Format

Steve and I have had discussions about the format for the onroad races and I'm going to post what we have come up with to see what the onroad guys think.
Qualifying
3 Rounds - 10 minutes each
Your best single qualifier will seed the mains.
Mains
C and lower 15 minutes
B - 20 minutes
A - 30 minutes
We are discussing longer A & B Mains at this time.
Each race will have to have an entry limit since most onroad events are only ran during daylight hours.

1/8
200mm Expert
200mm Intermediate
1/10 Open ( 200mm w/Lola bodies and 235mm)
